Getbhavcopy version 2.1.6a released

Getbhavcopy version 2.1.6a has benn released. It takes care of the below issues
1. Issue with NSE Indices data download - This was caused becase NSE changed its Indices symbols, causing the data download to fail. The original issue is fixed and I have also added additional Index symbols.
2. Issue with BSE Indices data download - This issue is partially fixed. Incides data is now being downloaded from Yahoo and not from BSE Index.
In addition there are other general improvements made in terms of build and release - but that is mainly for my development.
Hope this release solves the major inconvenience the community has been facing.
Check the download page for the links to download the latest version.
NOTE - Getbhavcopy 2.1.6a required .NET framework 4.0 to be installed in your machine or it would not work. Please install it from here (https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=17718" target="_blank">.Net Framework Installer)

I have released new binaries for the 2.1.6a version. Even though version 2.1.6a is not changed these are new files so I request everyone to re download them from the links in the Downloads page. Hopefully this should not be detected as a virus.

What i expect you to provide is a set of manual steps starting from the place on the site where you can get the data and then how do you process it manually to the format you need.
I can then work on automating that task in Getbhavcopy, but if you need it, you have to also provide detailed instructions on how to get it done.

so that u can use it by dot net and download /extract bhavcopy datewise and get month wise( 3 month contract is there) like copper-I, COPPER-II, COPPER-III

When I try to download " getbhavcopy2.1.6a" I see 2 more options by same name given by K R & by panchal but when I try to download those bhavecopies they start downloading some other softwares ( not related to "getbhavcopy" even when I try to download getbhavcopy version given against your name ( hemen kapadia" it starts downloading something else PLEASE HELP ME OUT.
I DOWNLOADED THIS VERSION 2.1.6a BUT ITS NOT WORKING THERE MIGHT BE SOME MISTAKE FROM MY SIDE PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE COMPLETE PROCEDURE
I am using windows 10 an avast virus protection ... getbhavcopy is identified as threat !!!! and move to chest ... hence cannot use 2.1.6a

my humble reqest to add mcx eod also in your getbhovcopy software.
i dont think that it is immposible to a software GEM like you to add mcx eod data also
in getbhovcopy.

Thanks a lot for putting the updated file. I had given up that you would update it as you are a busy person yourself. But I Appreciate that you took out the time to update the file for the larger community. Kudos to you.
I also noticed that you have added downloading of newer indexes (compared to previous version) as well.

Problem is i do not check this site often + I developed Getbhavcopy when I wanted to do technical analysis myself. Now I do not have time to do technical analysis so do not use Getbhavcopy myself. so i do not know when it stops working - till one day someone emails me or I come to see this site and see most people talking about an issue.
That is when i take some time out to get this working once again for you all.

It is working fine & faster also. It is welcome step that you have added all the NSE indices which are very useful to analyses of specific sectors of overall market. As overall volume traded is in NSE, indices of BSE are not so important.

@Neeraj - BSE indices have been partially enabled. You need to use the version 2.1.6a. For now i have not disabled 2.1.5a because some people are mentioning that 2.1.6a is not working.
Thanks sir, me too using it since first version started....its working but BSE indices still not downloading....anyway once again thank you sir...I am still not able to make money from stock but once i gets i will make a payment sir...

Is the log folder getting generated ?
yes it is genarated but as u add many other indices if any indices do not download ,may be next indices data may stuck otherwise gr8 job
it is working ok ,just a bit of problem with bse (sometimes do not download).
