More and more indices getting dropped NIFTYMIDCAPLIQ15, NSEMIDCAP, NIFTYSMALL100 Not that i need so many indices but nonetheless results in crappy data in Amibroker for these indices.

Hi nitesh, In that case add the file as an exception in Norton. I am sure there is no virus in the exe file if the MD5 hash is the same as what you see in the virustotal link. That executable is checked by almost 53 different antivirus softwares and they do not detect it as a virus.

Okay, i managed to get the hash of the exe file here it is a2897f5248542c6f5723aa20ede881cb it is matching with the exe hash on the virus total link

Can you share the MD5 hash of the file Getbhavcopy.exe that is getting deleted ? Also which antivirus software are you using ?

Alternatively compare the MD5 and Getbhavcopy build number with the Virus total link in the blog post. As you can see none of the virus total antiviruses are detecting it as a virus.

Hi Hemen, I use Norton Antivirus, the zip files MD5 hash is matching, unfortunately I am unable to use the WinMD5Free software to check the hash of the exe file, because as soon as I extract it, it gets deleted. I tried using the WinMD5Free software to check the hash of the exe file without extracting it - by going into the zip folder but that just shows the message "computing . ." for a really long time. It doesn't show the hash of the exe file.

Hi Hemen,
I downloaded version 2.1.8a from the downloads page, and the zip file has the correct MD5 hash, but my antivirus software keeps deleting the exe file (after I extract it) saying it is unsafe. Please help on this issue, as I'd really like to use Getbhavcopy.
Thanks!

Hi Hemen,
The latestwe version is working fine. Thanks for the same.
Can "name" column be added in BSE data download? This will help in searching for the scrip faster. It is difficult to remember 6 digit scrip IDs.

I have not changed anything from NSE perspective. Either it is a temporary server glitch at NSE end or NSE interface has changed. Are you still facing the issue ?
