Getbhavcopy version 2.1.9a released

Getbhavcopy version 2.1.9a has been released to address the below issues

  • Handle 403 Forbidden errors returned by NSE server when downloading Getbhavcopy file on 2 Jan 2017.
  • Handle 403 Forbidden error from NSE servers when download data for previous years.
  • Remove version checking dependency on my website which has a questionable uptime past 3 to 4 months.
  • Fixed few NSE Indices which chnaged on the site, which were not getting downloaded.

Dear Sir ,

I am also getting same problem Kindly let me know in which OS this application will work . Or I have to change . Net framework.

Vishal, that is because you are using Windows XP. .Net framework classes that I need to use for Getbhavcopy no longer support Windows XP. You will need to upgrade your OS.

Hello Hemen,

I am regular user of Getbhavcopy. Since last update of 2.1.9a, I am unable to run Getbhavcopy....The error is:

Message ********* Starting Getbhavcopy *********
Message Error checking version support for Getbhavcopy using static file.
Message The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.

I have recently recommended your software to lots of my Financial Friends....Now it has stopped working....please suggest how to fix it.....I have also gone thru the Troubleshooting page...with no luck....

Hi Hemen,

Thanks for new version. I have noticed two issues.
1. NSENIFTY Index data is not getting downloaded.
2. NIFTYFMCG is not getting downloaded because there is a spelling mistake in FMCG. It is checking for FMGC instead of FMCG
